arashdejkam
Hello, Today when I checked my folder (with rating/size info on) noticed number of ratings on one of my photos which used to be 10 has increased to 11, clicked on the photo and there was also a new comment, surprisingly the number of ratings was back to 10, I clicked back and it was back to 10 in folder view too! I suspected the author of the comment must be the rater and contacted him, he told me he did give me a rating but it was not there, even he had tried to rate again but received "you have already rated this photo". I know the new system deletes ratings from very high and low raters but because this is the first time that this member is rating my photos, he has a below 5 average and the rating got deleted immediately it appeared a bit suspicous, decided to report it here. if it's necessary I can send more info about the photo and the rater directly to moderator's email. timnichols
The identical thing happened to me today, although I didn't check with anyone about it. The number dropped by one between times that I checked, soon after posting. I assumed that the rater changed his or her mind, which might be the explanation. venicia_l
Arash,
For many weeks now, if I comment on an image first, then try to rate it, I get an error message saying that I have already rated, although I have not. It askes if I want to "change" my rating, which I attempt to do, but the system never recognizes any rating.
VL
jlg
Venicia, your problem shows symptoms very similar to a known site bug. It's supposed to happen only with the rate recent photos and rate folder interfaces, though.
