EricM
I actually had both, i pulled focus onto the nearest eye as well. but i didn't scan that one before i surendered them...I generally would agree with you, but it didn't look as good fsr

sandy.
Eric, I made this same mistake ALL of the time. Welcome to the club. :-D
kent_tolley2
Eric~ I agree with Grant about the focus. The fur in his cap would also be in if you went for the closest eye. Still it's a pretty good shot. The subject is wonderful to me.

But that's not why I posted. On this shot since it's less than 511px wide you could upload it directly to the WNW page without hosting it. You'll get this full size with less trouble. seb v.
Sandy, personally I like the far eye focus. Could you tell me what lens it was please? Seb
EricM
Grant, I didn't stay warm. it averaged -40 celcius. we hit -62 one day. I came home with a burnt 'T' across my eye brows and down my nose from the frozen camera bodies. At the end of the day my fingers felt like they were being squeezed in a vice when they where warming up. Here's a really tight crop of me in action, that's frost on my eye lashes...coldest I've ever been. Every ten minutes I had to open my jackets up and swap frozen battery packs out from under my chest. Sandy, which club? The "Forever Gone and I wish I could re-edit" Club?

EricM
Sebastian, sorry, just noticed your query. And I can't remember...perhaps my 135 f2 judging by dof and focal length? Or the 105? Grant, six days of hell for a lifetime of memories...well, you know.
