Jochen_S
Try to get 1GB; it might provide 80? frames, if you shot RAW. Beware of microdrives.

nathan_kornievsky2
THis test was conducted on CF microdrives manufactured in 2002, I believe the transfer speeds have increased significantly since then. I too have just purchased a D1 and am looking for some memory. I'm a bit apprehensive about going with a SD card over a microdrive, because of data integrity issues. ie loosing all your pictures on the card for no reason. I talked to the local pro camera shop today and they told me they use hiachi cards, they have had toubles with other Manu. do any current users of the D1(not D1x) have any opinions or knowledge as to which microdrives seem to work well with the camera
