What Pro/famous Photographers still shoot film?

<p>Hey Everyone. I always wondered what pro's/famous togs still shoot film. I know Jerry Uelsman and Albert Watson do but who else?<br>

<p>I do not know for sure who shoots what but I believe that Clyde Butcher shoots all of his scenics with large format film. Also I think Kim Weston shoots with LF film in his studio. </p>

<p>I'm willing to bet there are quite a few. Film sales are still a significant part of the industry. That alone will tell you that someone is using the stuff. Medium and large format film seems to be doing fairly well, and for the most part, it's not amateurs who are using the stuff. </p>

<p>Many panormaic photographers still use film.</p>

<p>The film market for Fuji alone is worth nearly $2bn (according to 2009 figures) and that exludes the color printing market. Still quite a few people then...</p>

<p>It could be worth 100Bn and it does not matter if the Margins are not there. I'd like to understand their profitability in this sector alone.</p>

<p>The bulk of still image film sold is dumb C41 35mm for one shot cameras and P&S cameras.</p>

<p>Fuji rationalized their film production in the middle of the last decade expressly to keep up their margin as volume declined. Check out the Fuji corporate reports for 2004-6 for details.</p>

<p>I could be wrong, but I think some celeb photographers like Frank Okenfels 3 and Dan Winters still shoot film.</p>
