Glenn McCreery
I used "distort" in Photoshop CS5 to change the perspective so as to eliminate the road, cropped, converted to black and white in SilverEfex, darkened the beam under the bench, selected the sky and added contrast to the clouds, and finally added sepia toning.

michaellinder
Slight crop from right and top in PSE15, then adjusted levels. Use dodge tool to lighten statue's head, neck, and arms. Then used sponge tool to boost saturation slightly in some areas. Finally, used NIK's output Sharpener. Then I converted my version to b&w using Silver Efex's noir 3 preset. Went back to PSE15 to make slight levels adjustments.
