Tamron 90mm f2.8 VC feedback

<p>Any members with the new Tamron 90m f2.8 VC lens that can provide feedback and samples would be great. I know the NON VC lens is sharp but want to see if the VC has any effect on anything.</p>

<p>it feels a bit palsticy...good plastic though.<br /> in my experience of the last year i came to the conclusion that plastic lenses won't shatter when they hit the ground -.-<br>

<p>I have the old one, which has a bit of loca and is prone to purple fringing in general (but otherwise is a very good lens). I generally use my 150mm Sigma OS, which is better in those aspects and also conveniently longer - but costs more. The samples I've seen from the VC Tamron (which I've never handled) seem to suggest that it's improved appreciably in this area.</p>
