Stolen equipment

<p>Does this site have a place where I could list equipment that was recently stolen from me? (They took everything! For the first time in 40 years I have no camera!). It occurs to me that this site reaches a lot of camera enthusiasts as well as people in the marketplace and perhaps they could be on the lookout for my stuff. </p>

Be sure to monitor your local Craigslist. This is a very common method of selling stolen stuff quick. I've had friends who

have seen their stolen property show up on there within hours.

<p>Another reason I don't use a real name online when dealing with hobbies like photography or shooting.</p>

<p>I do hope you get your equipment back, and agree with checking craigs list. Criminals aren't the smartest in the book. </p>

<p>Also call Canon (1-800-OK-CANON) to see whether they will open service records on your equipment (via serial number) and report the equipment stolen, so that if anyone ever calls them about an item (service issue, inquiry as to service history), they might be able to notify you.</p>
