ginon_lee
I've recently bought a Minox PL and althogh I've used other manual cameras,...I'm pizzled!!! The images are easily under-exposed when they are taken on cloudy weather or bright indoor. I don't understand why Minox has developed this full-automated system. The qualities of the pictures aren't even as good as a decent japanese automatic pocket camera. It's just small.(Minox) Am I just not used to shoot pictures with Minox? Am I not aware of the exposure technique? I'm not used to estimating the distances with eyes???
jeff_drew4
What film are you using in regard to these comments? I have the EL & ML and both take perfectly exposed images for color neg film. But I usually test the camera meter vs. my Gossen SBC before assuming anything. You set the meter properly etc. and have the correct batteries installed? I will agree the Minox 35 series is not their best efforts nor the best small 35mm. Minolta & Leica & Contax do astounding work. In terms of pocketability, the Minox 35 is tough to beat.
