cc_chang2
Do you know the IQ from Samyang in general? I would be interested to get a 14/2.8 lens that is smaller and much lighter than my Tokina 12-24. The DOF would be nice to add since this is meant to be for MF only.
leicaglow
I saw a review somewhere, and it was okay, but not exemplary. Center sharpness was pretty good, but the edges went south pretty fast.
kari v
I took a look at the D3X samples. Edges were not very good on 24Mp 35mm sensor but when reduced to 12Mp they were usable. Crop sensor cameras should perform very nicely, I think aps-c covers only the sharp portion of the image circle.
Robin Smith
DOF on a 14mm seems unnecessary to me - pretty well everything is included within it even at f2.8, and at that aperture the edges and corners will never be sharp with this lens anyway.
Robin Smith
