Rollei MiniDigi Retro Twin-Lens +DIGITAL+ Camera

Recommended Posts

Actually, Jim,all our reservations about digital could be solved by installing a scanner and laptop computer into a Hobo body. It looks like it can handle it. That's only half kidding; some folks up at Rochester Institute of Technology experiements with using scanners as digital cameras. They may still have some stuff posted:

Warning! Jim's given link, "Rollei MiniDigi Retro...," loaded the "Bfast" adware (spyware) into my system when I accessed it. If you don't mind someone monitoring your web activities, by all means go there. If that does bother you however, beware. If you already went there, look for "anyuser@Bfast" in your cookies folder and delete it. If you haven't done it already, consider running one of the spyware checkers available online. You'll be amazed at how much stuff they've put in your machine.

I bought one Rolleiflex minidigi from NY. This camera is a 1/3 scaled down miniaturized Rolleiflex 2.8 TLR, with all the knobs, cranks reproduced quiite accurately. You need to operate the crank

like the original Rolleiflex in order to take picture. The color LCD

is 0.9 x0.9 inch size. It comes with a 32M MMC card, taking 80 pictures of 1760x1760 resolution. The 9mm F2.8 lens is quite sharp with very low distortion.

<P> The camera is made in Japan for Rollei.
