pocket size camera for mountain biking

  1. I mountain bike with friends and don't feel comfortable taking my DSLR camera to take photos/videos of our rides we go on. Anyone have a good recommendation on a good/best quality small camera that has good to excellent picture quality and good to average video? It doesn't have to be water proof, but rugged enough to handle bouncing around in a secure position in a camel backpack.

Although you say you don't want a waterproof camera, they are shock resistant and are good in the rain. I like the Olympus range (TG series) but I think they are all pretty much the same. DPReview did a comprehensive review last year.

  3. this is a youtube channel under the name "Techmoan", he's a British dude who has several professionally
done reviews of numerous makes and models, well worth watching. I was all set to go buy a GoPro, and
although his reviews on it are good, there are also several alternatives....
