  3. Film is making a comeback!

  5. Thank you for the timely reportage.

  6. Nikon also released their KeyMission 360. Nice to see they want to play in the GoPro space with their own VR twist! Will be released in the spring and no price tag yet but nice to see them willing to hop in the ring and get a little dirty. Yes a wee bit late to the game BUT better late than never! More here from Nikon USA!

  7. Whats that? Did you say Kodak again!? Yes sir! Kodak is turning into a (insert saucy British accent) "naughty little minx" here by offering up a 4K action camera with 12.4-megapixel sensor and a dome-ish lens boasting a 235-degree field of view. Yes, yes...you'll need 2x of these and place them back to back to get all 360 BUT Kodak will help you out there and they'll bundle them together for $899. Giddy up Kodak! Nice work!

  8. No extra battery, no problem...hope its sunny out! Mountable action cameras appear to be a common theme here at CES - this one has an interesting twist. ACTIVEON SOLAR X can re-charge with the sun, and is coming in March. X Station is able to charge the Solar X camera up to 80% in 30 minutes and to 100% in 60 minutes. The ACTIVEON Solar X provides a total battery life of six hours. This includes two hours of battery life from the built-in battery and an additional four hours of battery life with a fully charged X Station. This nice feature coupled with 4K performance!
