Not Your Normal School of Photography

Has anyone purchased the Not Your Normal School of Photography course by Pam

and Jeff Farr? I was wondering how much is hot air and fluff and how much is

meat and potatoes.

 

Their business model makes it look easy but if it was easy everyone would be

doing it.

 

Any thoughts/critiques welcomed.

This is a familiar form of hype, though I admit they SEEM to be offering it free according to their site. Still, making

nearly 3 grand on a weekend for a beginner in photography is a bit of a reach, and to do it over and over is done ONLY by a few shooters ANYWHERE! These guys are like those superanimated motivational speakers you see on TV infomercials.....all form and no substance. Still, if it's truly free, send for the book and course. What have you got to lose?, but DON'T send them a dime!

I always get curious if people talk about getting lots of money (ok POTENTIALLY WITHOUT REAL PROMISE) and can not buy a new keyboard with those little characters.

I looked. Lots of hype, maybe some truth to what they say if you believe the "go go go" attitude of motivation-speaker types. But the thing is it's all a pitch to enroll in their "real" course.
