We're still testing out the idea of allowing members to post up to three images per week - let's see if that's still feeling like a good idea.

Hello Nikonistas, and a good Wednesday to everyone. Though we're still exploring the up-to-three images option for those in the mood, I'm just posting the one today. Still working my way through post on my Uncle Bob wedding shots from a couple weeks back. The groom's young cousin was on flower-girl duty, and I got her gazing at (of course) a bouquet of flowers held by a bridesmaid. Nothing like some outdoor light for such an occasion. Had your Nikon gear out for a formal affair? Share a photo (or three!).

alex_zepeda
I got a new-to-me toy the other day, just in time for the San Francisco International Dragon Boat Festival. I didn't quite have the vantage point to get great shots of the races themselves, but I got a few interesting shots of the folks on land. The saturation and sharpness are absolutely unreal. In fact, I ended up using Adobe's D2X "mode 2" process.

D200 • ISO 160 • Nikon 180/2.8 AF • ƒ/3.5 • 1/3000th

D200 • ISO 100 • Nikon 180/2.8 AF • ƒ/4.0 • 1/1250th

richvanwart
Greetings! Lovely rose/coral-color suffused portrait of the young girl, Matt. Jose's fiesta performers are gorgeous in their expressiveness (the first and last images, particularly). Craig Cooper -- that is a fantastic image, just perfect!
