Here's a mercenarial puppy portrait I did at a local farm market a few days ago. I don't know terriers very well, but I know I can't resist a 13-week-old Westie like Olivia, here. What have you and your Nikon gear come across this past week? Share a photo!

dj88
Going to go back to my short lived vacation/slice of heaven the other week. While resting on the beach we were able to spend some time with a herd of Alpacas and Llamas. This little gal was about a year old and didn't seem to mind the camera snapping at her while my wife held her.

aguinaldo_de_paula
Last sunday I tried my new old toy, the fisheye nikkor 8mm f/2.8 AiS.
It is a wonderful piece of precision engineering and has that rugged feel that makes me fan of these old nikkors.
The new ones have superb performance, but the massive presence of plastic somehow carries a sense of cheapness I don't appreciate.
I wish my beloved 14-24mm f/2.8G had a metal and velvet cap instead of that lousy plastic one.
Thank you.
