DavidTriplett
This is the additional weekly image thread for the Nature Forum. While images posted to this thread should still be nature in theme, it may contain a small amount of human-made objects and therefore less restricted than the Monday in Nature threads. Please see this discussion for more details: Alternative weekly thread in Nature forum Each participant please post no more than just one image per weekly thread. Here's another from Mammoth Hot Springs, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. This fellow was quite contentedly parked just off the boardwalk, between Liberty Cap and the trail to Palette Spring. Maybe he was simply resting after having lost a battle, based on the evidence in his antlers?

katsone
I'm trying to get as much fresh air and sunshine these days, far apart from other humans here in NY. The Osprey have returned early this year and are busy nesting and grabbing the newly stocked trout.
