Mounting a camera to a motorcycle

Recommended Posts

I've got a mount on my gas tank for shooting video of the instrument panel and view out the front. I have been looking for a way to carry a tripod on my Katana and the only thing I've come up with is a couple hundred dollars in various parts made by Bogen/Manfrotto and uses a sort of pipe clamp to go around the handle bar. As for the back looking forward, that should be a good trick<g>.

I would clamp a monopod to something sturdy in the back and use a remote trigger for the camera. What do you ride? A bike that has a luggage rack would be the easiest to mount a monopod to. For a tank mount, I just saw this neat gadget at newenough.com.
