marcsharp
I am interrested in starting (or joining) a photography study group in Houston. My idea is to find a group of like-minded individuals who want to help eachother learn and practice photography. All skill levels welcome. We could create photo projects and assist one another with the shoots. We might invite local professional photographers as guest speakers to give insight into their craft. Eventually, as the group gets organized, we might even plan some trips for the group to get some interresting photos. If you have any suggestions on how to find people for this study group, any activities that our group might want to consider, or if you would like to participate in this group, please contact me via photo.net, or post a response here. Also, if such a group already exists, please let me know so I can join.

marcsharp
Very interresting. I've checked out the website, and Houston Center for Photography certainly has alot to offer. It looks like a great way to meet people who might want to participate.
