I am looking to get DSLR Camera for Xmas. What are everyones thoughts on the Cannon EOS 1200D?
Is it worth buying?

I tend to just take shots of Airshows, Landscapes, Buildings, etc.
I am not a complete beginer but my old Camera is a Olympus FE-120. Not great for Airshows or Sports.
I have not used a DSLR before but i am good with tech.

Thanks :)

Hi Anthony,
In my view, is it worth buying - well, yes, BUT....
I would try to visit a store first and handle a number of cameras within your budget, to get a feel which one fits your hands best, which one has the button lay-out that fits your idea best. There is nothing wrong with the Canon (as far as I can tell), but the other manufacterers have competitive offers, and maybe they might just fit you better. How a camera handles is very much a personal thing, and not something you can easily 'learn'- it just fits, or it doesn't.
So, I wouldn't limit the choice to one before actually having a good look at all that is available.

If you're in the US, Canon is offering the 1200D/T5 for $200 with the kit lens. An amazing deal for a refurbished camera with a 1 year warranty.
