gene_e._mccluney
I have lost my old (1977) issue of Petersons Photographic that has the original article introducing the WD2D Pyro developer for modern films. I want to mix up a batch, and I can find some info on the internet, but not everything contained in this article. Does anyone have a scan, or pdf of this article? I would love to read through it again to refresh my memory. I can be emailed at mccluney (at) sbcglobal (dot) net McCluney Photo
jim_appleyard
If you can't find the Pete article, the Formulary has a tech section about different devs. IIRC, there's one on WD2D.
the world in black white
Greetings! There was a later article in PhotoTechnique Magazine about Wimberley's later and improved formula for WD2D+. You might want to locate that article/formula; however, Formulary sells the kit (2 solutions) for a very reasonable price. It is one of my favorite developers, and of the staining developers currently second to only 510-Pyro.
jim_appleyard
Here's the link to the PT article. Not quite what you were seeking, but may be of some help. http://www.phototechmag.com/previous-articles/2003/ma-wimberley/wimberly.html
