johnkenthill
When browsing photos through any selection under the "Explore" menu item, I get advertisements every few rows. Is this a "new norm" for subscribers or is it a bug yet to be ironed out? Anyone?
michaellinder
I found out from other members (embarrassingly so) that the ads shouldn't be visible if you get a premium membership. I did, and I still see ads.

johnkenthill
Well it used to be no ads for paying subscribers. My years subscription isn't up yet so my guess is this is another bug. The page offers me a Premium subscription so apparently it doesn't recognize me as a paying member. "Item 151 on today's list." Samuel Jackson - Jurassic Park. Ken Ratcliffe
Join our community does say "Ad-free portfolio", I'm a premium member and my portfolio is ad-free. I get ads when i go to Explore but then I expect to as that is not my portfolio. Sorry I don't see the issue, PN is doing what is stated.

If I'm paying I don't want to see ads while I'm browsing. I'm simply trying to clarify if that is indeed the case or if it is one of the many bugs that has plagued the new system. Norma Desmond
Is this a "new norm" for subscribers or is it a bug yet to be ironed out? John, I've come to the conclusion that it's not either/or. Bug = new norm in PN2.0. 2 We didn't need dialogue. We had faces!
GerrySiegel
I have a few more months before I guess I am due to renew paid. I don't know if I should renew and give affirmation to the status quo. Guess it could be worse, bite my tongue///

johnkenthill
What about comments on an image in another's portfolio? If you're talking about what I think you're talking about. You can choose not to see those. By removing a checkmark in your Account settings here: If that's not what you're talking about, then I don't know what you're talking about. ;-)
