ellis_vener_photography
I don't care if you just got your first camera (or gave someone their first camera) or have been taking and making photos avidly for fifty years, you should have this one book to dip into regularly. It's called "Color, Light, & Gesture" and is by a photographer whose whose work s still vibrant and exciting even though he's been a photographer for 60 years, Jay Maisel. If you ever feel stymied or bored with your own photographs his image, coupled to his words, will unlock you, guaranteed. And it's not even a compilation of his "greatest hits." foxy_roxy
Does this book have photos in it? Or is it simply text? I have a kindle and if it's just text I could read it on there but if theres photos I prefer to have a hardcopy.
