365 Day Thread for 2018

  1. From last year: Fleeting fame- Many once proud families that were the leading citizens of the day are largely forgotten. All that remains of the family on this monument is a street that was named after them nearly a century ago. The Antebellum home they built belongs to another family.

  7. 26BDB081-7540-40B3-AD47-127DFDB0D35E.jpeg Not sure what day is where ever but I assume Thursday has started. Figured out how I can catch the mongrel running in focus. Focus and then throw the frisbee there.

Twelve years ago we got her from the pound. The next day the vet said she had full blown Parvovirus and even if he treated her he felt she had no chance of survival. He said that it cost $800 to treat her and in his opinion we would be throwing our money away. That did not work for me and I elected to treat. Many of you saw pictures of the destruction she has wrought over the past decade. When asked her breed I say she is 1/2 doomsday machine and the other half is a stomach with a bark attached. The most loving K9 I ever had.

  18. For the 10th ( I am new to this so forgive me if I am out of line on this) I am documenting the funkier places in the little city I live in. Nikon F2 50 1.8 shot on Foma 200

  19. Keep those old time, funky places exposed in your camera work. Besides photography, history is a keen subject & in the blink of an idea, the history of a town vaporizes. Biuldings & cemeteries tell the history of a people for sure. I wish people posting here left some history of their work. Where?? When?? Who?? Aloha, Bill 2k18-035-022 ces10 bc.jpg

  20. Let me guess... the "P" in Pfranks is silent, right? :) Nice shot, and yes, I believe you did it correctly.
