Mike Gammill
Greetings, all, and welcome to our new thread. Post all the images you like from any film camera. To start I have some images taken with the Sigma 18-35 zoom. Camera was a Maxxum 9xi with Portra 160. I shot this film several years ago and posted some images from it. I found a few more from that film that I don't believe I have posted year. exit playground When using an ultrawide zoom I tend to utilize the widest focal lengths the most, but at the 35 setting it's not bad for people if one doesn't get too close. my youngest son (at 35mm focal length) Swalm School of Chemical Engineering (Mississippi State) formula door in Hand Chemical Lab (cropped) One more- Fire hydrant Looking forward to seeing everyone's images.
rick_drawbridge
This week I acquired a few MF lenses I'd been seeking for some time, one of them being the Tamron Adaptall 2 SP 35-210 f/3.5-4.2 (Model 26A). A beautifully constructed and heavy lens, I've managed to shoot only a hurried test film with it as our mid-Winter weather is severely restricting my outdoor activities, but the results were very encouraging and I'll post some samples below. The photographs were taken in a brief spell of sunshine using a Minolta X-700 camera loaded with with Ilford Delta 400 film, developed in PMK Pyro. rick_drawbridge
Here are a few from another new acquisition, a 28-85mm Vivitar (Kino) f/2.8-3.8 lens. It's a very heavy and attractive lens, mechanically and optically impressive and a joy to use. The camera was a Minolta XD-7 and the film was Arista EDU Ultra 100 developed in PMK Pyro.
