Film Camera Week for July 10

Recommended Posts

Long time, no see, folks! Finally have a good reason to be back. Acquired a Crown Graphic and a new (to me) Kodak Ektar 127mm f/4.7. Here are some shots.

#1: Mt. Rainier - Reflection Pond: Crown Graphic, 1942 Kodak Ektar 127mm f/4.7 @ f/22 x ~1/2 sec, Ilford FP4+, D76, Epson V800.

#2: Mt. Rainier - Same, except: Fujinon SWD 90mm f/5.6 @ f/22 x ~1 sec, red 25A.

Easy to forget, Brad. I don't know how others do it, but I size the images to 1000 pixels wide, or 850 pixels deep for vertical images.

I use 300 DPI as most of my images are scaled at this resolution.

I open the text box and hit the "More Options" button.

I write in the new text box, and then drag and drop the image from my file viewer into the text box.

I place the cursor where I want the image to appear and hit the Full Image button at the bottom.

I repeat the process for each image, along with any text, such as an image title.

When complete, I hit "Reply to Thread"

Remember, the position of the cursor is used to arrange placing and spacing of both images and text!

It has been so long, I forgot how to post a picture in the clear. If someone could remind me, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

i most often drag and drop images right into a reply box from my desktop photo files. If the image is too large, it turns it into a jpeg. If that’s the case, I’ll use the “post image” option at the top of the reply box and post a url to the shot in my photo host site, Zenfolio. This method effectively embeds a photo into the reply box.

When you drag and drop, it places the file outside the reply box and you have the choice to post a clickable thumbnail, or to post the entire, full image.

If the image file you post is overly or extraordinarily large tho, anyone who clicks on it may be using excess, possibly costly data. This is one benefit of having a host site: file size choices.

Another option is open the “post image” function and select “choose file”, to pull a photo out of your device’s image files. This is a bit cumbersome on the desktop but works very well for posting out of a mobile phone.
