peter_c5
Looking at the discussion on the Canon EOS forum, it seems to have almost died over the last few months. By contrast, there have been many, many postings on the Fred Miranda Canon Gear forum. Is that all we need, or should we start a new forum here too? Unsurprisingly, I’m posting this as someone who’s just moved over to Canon RF mirrorless - and have just sold my last Canon DSLR.
Jochen_S
To me any EOS seems to be an EOS. They still have a lot in comon and all of them could fully use EF lenses, at least via adapter. The only "Canon gear" aspect photo.net is lacking is: It doesn't throw everything Canon together but spreads the good old RFs into the "Leica and Rangefinders" and old SLRs into the Canon EF forum. Anyhow: I wonder what keeps people from posting here. Our moderators seem doing a great job. The site looks easier to read than discussions on dpreview. I lurked elsewhere but liked it here! - I can't say anything EOS specific about fora, I never searched around for them. Looking at the current state of photo.net I am wondering which infotainment seeker is checking anything else than "New Posts"...
William Michael
. . . should we start a new forum here too? This and similar questions are moot ("having little or no practical relevance"). As I understand none of the Moderators have Traits to access the console to create a new forum: neither do any have access to the owners.
