Headed up to the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge for date night on Friday. Did not time it well, as the sun was getting ready to set before we even arrived. My wife thinks I should post an image of the extraordinary clouds of mosquitoes, but I think this Common Tern (in breeding colors) will do for now:

Still very few birds at the Refuge, though the ducks, curlews, blackbirds and some others are present. A few herons and pelicans, but certainly more to come.
