Tony Parsons
Thanks again for the update - the hard work put in by you both is obviously paying dividends. An enthiusiastic student, and an enthusiastic tutor, can often transcend mere technical skills and produce a result unexpected in its achievement. Well done to you both. Gary Naka
I mentor the yearbook photographers at my local high school. I also found that "practice what you preach" works. By having to shoot and produce what I expect the kids to do, it makes me aware of issues that I may not have considered before. Like something as seemingly simple as how to get from the left side of the baseball field to the right side. But, you cannot go behind the home plate backstop. It also made me recognize and work out some difficult lighting issues.
