How uploading an image in the right way

Excuse me for such a trite question but I can't find this information in the site. I mean size, weight, profile ... I am a bad explorer.

Our uploader only accepts jpg and but easiest way to do this is to give it a try! Looking forward to seeing your uploads!

Is there a general guideline for the size of uploaded images? Although I am a long time member of the site, I have rarely posted photos.

Suggested is 1000 widest dimension - I most often use 1024 / Medium. Several of the forum instructions cite specifics.

Buongiorno! I see you've requested info on uploading a photo. You might have noticed that the site sometimes does not work. Apparently, they are still working on it and upgrading. As far as upload, see the orange button in the upper right corner of almost any page. It says "upload" click it. It should go to a page with a larger orange button- choose photos for upload - on the left, middle of the page. Click it. It should come up with your computer's file and you can choose which file contains your photos, and which one. Select your photo then click "open" lower right corner of pop up screen. It will do its thing and eventually will come a screen where you can put in a title, description and other info. The exif information is not totally accurate, but you can add more info if you like. It doesn't seem to matter what size, but a reasonable one, I try to keep mine in the 1 to 2 mp size, will go faster. Let me know if this helps and if you have any other questions. Ciao Greg
