Shamal69
Hey! Does anyone out there have any experience getting film processed in India? I'll be there for 6 months and looking for a good and reliable lab for c-41 and black and white processing. The aim is the hand print and exhibit the images so I really want a trusted lab anywhere within India. Any suggestions guys?
glen_h
It is hard enough to find good black and white labs in the US, maybe harder in India. And it should be easy enough to do yourself. Well, you could use XP2 and process it C41. I expect that there are still C41 labs everywhere in the world, some better than others. -- glen

I have found a lab doing c-41 in delhi now. just weighing up whether its safer to send back exposed film to my lab in the UK or use these guys in Delhi. glen_h
I have found in the US that TSA is good about hand inspecting film, without X-rays. (TSA claims they are safe below ISO 800. I often use Diafine, so rating my film higher. If they ask, I tell the TSA that. But usually there isn't a problem.) Other countries, not so good. Some want to X-ray film no matter what. With mail, they might go through X-rays, and also might sit in a truck or post office on a hot day. -- glen
