Hello from Central Virginia

Hello everyone. I'm just getting back into photography after a several decades long break (since the mid 80's). I am trying to learn all of the ins and outs of shooting digital. I'm using a Nikon D3400 and am loving it so far. Looking forward to getting out and getting some more shots, and learning from the community.

(By the way, there still are some members who insist on the position that digital is less legitimate a form of photography than film. Don't let this discourage you.)

And believe it or not, there are a great many digital photographers who look down their noses at film.
