Norma Desmond
I've noticed people have even started commenting on their struggle to upload photos by way of a text accompaniment to their No Words contributions, which flouts the guidelines but is certainly understandable. I'm sympathetic to what they're going through just to make a simple photo upload to a photo web site. It's a shame that these error messages persist, some days recently even worse than in the past, and it's more of a shame that it's now starting to ruin the flow of the No Words threads, which had been a safe haven up until now. We didn't need dialogue. We had faces!
Sanford
I think it happens when two or more people are trying to upload at the same time. Not an excuse, just an observation.
gordonjb
I've given up on posting photos to NW or anywhere else at PN. Simply too frustrating.
Dieter Schaefer
I think it happens when two or more people are trying to upload at the same time. Not an excuse, just an observation. I have made the same observation in the past - except this morning on two occasions, no simultaneous post appeared to have been made. which flouts the guidelines Sorry about that - I had the same message on the same upload at least four times. And it wasn't even an image upload in the strict sense but a a simple posting of a link (to an image hosted in flickr).
Norma Desmond
Dieter, please don't be sorry. I'm glad you said it. I mentioned it here only to emphasize how frustrated it was making people who were otherwise happy to simply participate in the No Words forum. I don't think it's about simultaneous posting either as I, too, have experienced it at times when no one else is posting and when no other photo appears near in time to my own. We didn't need dialogue. We had faces!
Dieter Schaefer
no other photo appears near in time to my own. Could of course be that the other poster didn't try again and gave up. But it has been my experience that in a near simultaneous "double" post at least one makes it through while the other gets the "server error". Norma Desmond
I'm not technologically savvy enough to know what may be causing it. I'm happy to defer to others on that. GerrySiegel
One of those pebble in the shoe things. Eventually it will be a norm. But it still is a pebble. Or a fly in the soup. Whatever.
Norma Desmond
Eventually it will be a norm. Gerry, unfortunately, these problems ARE now the norm. And I’ve stopped expecting a pivot. 1 We didn't need dialogue. We had faces!

adam_p2
Hi All, tried to link a Flickr image in a thread, and this is what I get: "Your content can not be submitted. This is likely because your content is spam-like or contains inappropriate elements. Please change your content or try again later. If you still have problems, please contact an administrator." How can I fix this? I saw other people using Flickr without issues. Thanks in advance.
