How to move image from hard drive to existing collection

I'm new to lightroom. Sorted files flagging then created a collection. However, missed flagging a shot and including it in the collection. It is still in my hard drive but when I go to that hard drive folder it is not highlighted or clearly visible. It will not highlight or select and the import button won't select. I would like to import one image from the hard drive to the collection. Any suggestions how? When I go to the main selects it isn't there.

Look at the Catalog Panel (left column) and insure"All Photographs" is selected and not a collection. Now you should be able to access the directory and import images from it.
