mark_stephan2
I'm looking for a device that will trip the shutter every few seconds for a short period of time. Not sure what I'm looking for, any ideas would be appreciated. I want to set up my 70D/6D near a bird feeder and take a picture every few seconds. William Michael
Timer Remote Controller TC-80N3 will connect directly to your 6D. For your 70D you can use the TC-80N3, but you’ll need to use Remote Controller Adapter, RA-E3 between the camera and the TC-80N3. There may be third party alternatives. Trigger_Happy
My husband did a trigger cable for my 70D and then you can use the triggertrap app on your phone and do all kinds of remote triggering. Lets see if he has the link somewhere.
Trigger_Happy
Here's the link Building A DIY Trigger Trap Mobile I believe Trigger Trap went belly-up a couple months ago but you can hopefully still find the app for both android and ios. jamie_robertson2
I use one of these. It works like a charm: Timer Remote Release for Canon Pro DSLRs. RS-80N3
mark_ethridge
I've got the Neewer off of Ebay. As mentioned above, it's cheap and it works. Be sure to get the one that fits your camera model.
