don_ehrenbeck
I'm starting to regret buying this camera as I do a lot of night photography and long exposure work. Any ideas or tips?
Ken Katz
Only suggestions would be to (a) use the base ISO setting only (200 ISO) and (b) set the noise reduction function to on or auto (for long exposure noise reduction). The noise reduction feature will double your exposure time, which may or may not be acceptable. I have only shot my EM-5 for 30 second exposure, which worked OK. I'm already doing that, but with exposures that are sometimes close to 10 minutes its pretty painful to look at. My brother has an EM-5 and the problem isn't so bad. cegeiss
Would it be better to take numerous "short" exposures and stack them in Photoshop later? Might be worth a try. Christoph Geiss
