michael_przewrocki2
About a year ago or beginning 2015 an independent company announced a camera system with three chip-sizes. aps-c, 1" and smaller.
aps-c with m-mount. Which company is this?

Jochen_S
Konost stirred the pot at the end of last February. - Google "startup digital rangefinder". Their website hasn't been updated since then, so I guess there isn't much hope.
Matthew Currie
Dang. I saw the message header and thought "a new film camera? Wow."
False alarm. Just another spammer who apparently does not understand what film is.
dave_s
Well, it's in the wrong forum, but that doesn't make Michael a spammer, and there's no reason to attack the guy. His member page shows he has been around since 2007, and started posting on different topics in the spring of this year. Not the usual phenotype of someone who is here to sell something.

Perhaps a moderator could move this to an appropriate digital forum.

michael_przewrocki2
Konost yes. BTW: maybe better moving this thread. sometimes its really hard to find the right section. I am seldom here.

Had also great hope for Samsungs new quad-shaped(hasselblad) tiny cam for 3dstereo(to get smallest base).
In sigma-FB i also made a hastily response when someone showed wonderful shot of verzasca-valley, most ideal for foveon cams. it was a pair which was shooting and showing on dpreview and FB.... and i argued she has stolen the idea....Not good wrong thinking. it was ines mondon. wonderful shots, she should show them here.

aplumpton
However excellent the idea of operability of prototypes, it is unlikely that the camera concept will make it to your camera store without the inventors collaborating with, or selling the IP to, an established manufacturer (Cosina? Epson? Leica? Olympus? Sony? or ?).
ken_jeanette1
I wonder why the big guys haven't thought of this, or if they have. My Digital SLRs and better point and shoots are so full of bells and whistles that every time I take one out, I practically have to read the manual. I remember the day when match needle, manual focus, and lever advance used to seem like state of the art.
