james_mitchell8
(Pardon me if this's a "duh" question -- search didn't bring anything up.)
Does anyone know what the image circle of the DA25/4 lens for Pentax 645 is? I'm thinking about Christmas and wondering if it's sufficient for use on the 645z. The Pentax site lists an angle-of-view, but that's sensor-size dependent....

Thanks in advance,

James
alexo
The digital Pentax 645 cameras use a crop sensor. Therefore, ANY Pentax 645 lens will have a sufficient image circle coverage.
dougmiles
And I believe this lens was intended from the start for use on Pentax's digital "645 format" cameras... The "DA" designation is the clue... Film-era lenses are "FA" and "A".
Doug
