I just built a stand-alone SmugMug site (hosted on a non-SmugMug UNIX server) using a .JPG for the logo (which loads sometimes, and sometimes not, on a Blackberry), and .PNGs for the home page gallery images. The site displays fine on iOS devices, and in all Windows7/8, and OS X browsers, but apparently not on Android/Blackberry devices. If anyone here has an Android or Blackberry device, would you mind clicking my link below, and letting me know if the page loads successfully (there should be over a dozen thumbnails shown in addition to the .JPG type-only logo at the top)? My company-issued Blackberry is older than others' and won't load the SmugMug-hosted images for some reason. Oddly, it loads images fine from my independently hosted Wordpress site, but refuses to load the SmugMug gallery thumbnails on the home page.
