peter_doucette
It looks like Gene M may have some competition, but right now, their website seems to be a bit overloaded.

c_watson1
So weary of hipsteritis infecting film photography. Just go to the PHSC swap meets(http://phsc.ca/) for the real deal.

Reminds me why I loathe the verb "to curate" and those who use it so much. Eeech!
JDMvW
In fields like museum work, the verb to curate is a necessary piece of jargon and useful.

On the other hand, there are other kinds of curation that are not so hot (link)
c_watson1
That's an old and pervy definition, JDM. It's the usage by store owners to describe buying stuff for their shop that irritates me.
Rob_the_waste
Clay, thanks for the heads up. I'm in Scarberia. I'll be sure to get down there one day and check it out. I was up at that theatre last summer. I spent more time looking at the cameras and other stuff than the movie itself. I hope he's still in business next year. The owner was up in the air about it because he might not be able to get film movies anymore. Everything was going digital and he didn't want to spend a fortune on projectors that will be obsolete in five years.

mark_satola1
Thanks for saying it, C Watson. I too am rather weary of hipster doofuses thinking they've discovered a brave new world of film.
