Perhaps you hit the Back button after you hit the Submit button. You have to hit Submit and then Confirm for the thread to appear.

However, a thread titled "it's me again" is unlikely to be a great success since nobody knows what you are asking, and, if they are using the New Answers page to find threads, won't even see your name, so "it's me again" is equivalent to saying "it's nobody again." Give your threads a title that indicates your question.</p>

Where is this "New Answers" page you mentioned?

<p>It's actually "New Responses" and there is a link at the top level of every forum and the Unified Forum View. It's on the right side.</p>
