Last day of winter but spring has finally taken a grip. Time to prep the garden. This test image was taken with a newly received PC-E 24mm. I thought I had a bad sample (soft focus) until I started to use live view to focus - every shot focused through the viewfinder is off.

00YRNi-341429684.jpg.ec9346f9724b514cb9ca0d5f05997973.jpg

Firstly I'm amazed at the high quality of the Nikonista Wednesday contributions. It is a real treat to see the innovation and creativity that is so inspiring! I recently got a GF1 and fotodiox Nikon G adapter for M4/3. I slapped on a 45 AiP Nikkor and went on a Sunday morning walkabout. The results were very pleasing. Here is one from that outing.

00YROe-341449584.jpg.ca60d94cb0464f2055eef7db5be8c359.jpg

Good Morning all. Signs of spring are starting to show here in northern Canada. I now know why they call this a Bronzed Grackle, the sun light reflecting off the spruce tree highlighted the birds iridescent coat. They usually look solid black.
Great shots everyone. Rick D and Jeannean B, assume. Roberta D, you nailed it again!

Jamie,
Type in the text box.
Hit submit.
On the next page, edit if needed. Hit confirm.
On the next screen, you can upload a photo from your desktop, etc. using the Browse button.
Make sure both dimensions are 700 pixels or less.
I think you need a caption for it. Hit whatever the button says: Confirm or upload or whatever.
