Hey everyone,
About a month ago I started a new image blog dedicated to showing off the work of innovative photographers (and a few graphic designers). The blog has had great success so far as we continue to try and build a consistent viewer/reader base. Check it out and please let me know if you have any suggestions or ideas.

In addition, we post content regularly (almost everyday) and are thus always open to submission. If you know of a cool photographer that you think should be included on our site (or if you would like to send in your OWN work) please do so in the left column of our main page.
I look forward to your thoughts.

Wilson,

I like to look of the blog. Nice, clean, uncluttered and that's rare these days. Thanks for no music, that too is a step in the right direction.

I wonder though about the photographs posted. They're not yours right? Do you have the permission of the copyright owner to use these photos? I thought I saw something on the first page that some content was "user submitted". Maybe I have it all wrong but to me that means that someone (not the photographer) liked Andrew Brauteseth's images and sent some to you.

Be very careful about using the work of others unless you have prior permission. The fines for copyright infringement - I'm not saying that's what you're doing since I obviously don't know the details - can run up into the hundreds of thousands of $$$ very fast.

Mikael,
I appreciate the compliments on the site. And you are right to think about issues involving copyright infringement. However, I always get permission from the photographers before posting their work. :) If it says "link via user submission" it simply means a viewer turned me onto a cool photographer, who I then contacted for permission before featuring. Anyway, thanks for your interest!

This is a stellar layout, nicely done! Very clean with great photos.

The only crit I have would be to make the header a bit smaller - for me, it takes up 3/4 of my browser and is a bit overpowering.

But really, that's the only thing I can find to crit, and I'm looking hard. It's a great blog, wonderful work.
