Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35

<p>Has anyone been following the release of <a href="http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&A=ShowProduct&sku=639338&is=REG&Q=">Panasonic's Lumix DMC-FZ35</a> ? B&H listed it as in-stock on Monday morning, by that evening the status was changed to "Approximate arrival August". I contacted B&H but haven't heard back from them. I'm not sure if the camera is back ordered and they haven't updated the status to "back ordered" or "accepting orders" or if the the camera was recalled last minute. I was also surprised not to see any reviews on this camera. I normally check DPreview and Kenrockwell (with a grain of salt) but neither had any news.</p>

<p>There is a review on American Photo, but it is not a real review just rubber-stamping. I have the TZ5, the TZ35 seems just like a thinner version of the same camera. </p>

<p>I'm pretty sure B&H sold out of their first shipment pretty fast. I know of several posters on the Panasonic forum at <a href="http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/forum.asp?forum=1033">Dpreview.com</a> who did order from B&H and have their cameras in the mail. You might want to check www.Vanns.com - http://www.vanns.com/shop/index.jsp - (very reputable dealer from whom I purchased my FZ18) in the next week or so. They advised me by email that their shipment would be arriving within a week.</p>
