pensacolaphoto
I own a Minox 35AF camera and would be interested in learning about your experiences with such a camera. Is the lens comparable in sharpness with the lens in the Minox GT (for example) ?
MTC Photography
I don't own a Minox 35AF, I think the lens is comparable to Minox GT lens. Since autofocus is more accurate than guestimate, I think in general, 35AF should be sharper than GT, in particular at wide open aperture.
pensacolaphoto
Hi Martin, It seems that few people own a 35AF Minox. Thanks for your response.
subminiature
There where over 13000 AF cameras make. Sharing some apparence with the classic 35 range it is been termed the ugliest Minox camera; I guess they had not seen the AF90. pensacolaphoto
I wonder if the honor of being the ugliest Minox increases the value of the 35AF. The Leica M5 was the ugliest Leica, but its value is increasing year after year.
christopher_platt
According to the website cited, camera has only 4-zone autofocus system. Doubtless any one of us could manually focus more accurately than that... Christopher Platt
