User_502260 Posted May 21, 2008 Share Posted May 21, 2008 I consider Rodinal Special to be Agfa's version of HC-110. Rodinal Special was also sold as Studional. The bottle I have shows that it contains TEA (triethanolamine) and hydroquinone. If I am not mistaken it also contains phenidone. The bottle shows times for three Agfa films at 1:7. I don't know whether this developer is still being made but you can obtain similar results with HC-110, PC-TEA and X-tol. These are all phenidone based developers.
