jtk Posted November 2, 2005 Share Posted November 2, 2005 Might not be fungus, might be oxidation...in any case, I've cleaned a bunch of HUNDRED year old negatives the old-fashioned way: soak in warm water with a couple of drops of photoflo per 16oz/500cc, then squeegee with wet fingers. Amazing how much whatever-it-is flows off, and how much better the old negs look. Might work for you. Give it a try with negs that aren't critical. Won't hurt.
