kaiyen
Hi all, Do any of you have blogs? I have been gathering photo blogs from thefolks at rangefinderforum.com into one central blog -photos.kaiyen.com/rffBlog If you have one, any interest in being included? I have seen quite abit of great work on here. allan

kaiyen
Well, what I need is an RSS or Atom feed. If you got one, I can feed it into there... allan

kaiyen
There really isn't any way to publicise a blog. Various sites that track blog updates are overwhelmed by the sheet number of blogs out there. So unless someone has an RSS feed of your blog in an aggregator you're on your own. It's easier if you put it in a sig file all the time - many of the visitors to my blog come from RFF and APUG, where I can easily enter a default signature. It's a pain in PN. But that's also the point of my "one blog to rule them all" idea. You go to that one blog, and see the stuff from others. Unfortunately, not all RSS and Atom feeds work properly, so not all images appear. In fact, sadly, Al's posts come up completely blank. The feed has content in it, but my Wordpress plug-in is refusing to display any of it. You'll notice that there are other inconsistencies - some blog posts include thumbnails, some don't. And one in particular reports the size of the thumbnam incorrectly and causes a formatting problem. allan

todd frederick
I have one that I work on from time to time. I have a great variety of photos I can post, both with digital and vintage cameras, but I'm not much of a creative storyteller. I need to work on it more. http://toddfrederickphoto.blogspot.com/

kaiyen
Hi all, So I've added most of your blogs to the list. At some point I'll change the name of the blog to something other than just RFF blog. Gabriele - my feed-finder did not find anything for your site. Do you have a feed set up? Also, for those of you using blogspot - there is some weird stuff going on between the rss-plugin I'm using and how blogger formats its stuff. Just fyi. Some but not all of the folks that use blogger's atom feed function have photos show up in my blog. Some don't. allan
