fotis_verde
I shot a Tri-X 400 to EI 200, due to the bright sun and the seaside themes. What is your recommendation for development with Rodinal?Dilution, time in 20C/68F.....
benlloyd
I did this yesterday, 1+49, 11 minutes at 20C, negs look good, pretty chunky, haven't had a chance to print them yet though. Depending how they print I might knock off a minute next time. Do let us know what you do, and how it turns out...
volker_stiehl1
Tri-X at EI200: This works for me: dil. 1:49, 20C/68F, 8:15 min, 2 inversions/min. Volker
david_beal___richmond_hts.
Tri-X at 200 works well in Rodinal 1:50 (aka Rodinal 1+49). I did some on Saturday; my darkroom was a bit chilly, so I entended the normal time to 14 min because of the 18 degree C ambient temp. Everything worked out well. Good shooting. /s/ David Beal * Memories Preserved Photography LLC
peter_witkop
For me, Tri-X in Rodinal 1:100 gives a normal speed of 200, sharp, nice highlights, not overly grainy (considering it's Rodinal after all). Dev. time, temp, etc (for me anyway) is 22 min. @ 70F, aggitation 10 sec. every minute, of course YMMV. Peter
arden_howell
Try Rodinal 1:75 at 68 degrees for 17 1/2 minutes with gentle agitation 10 sec./min. For a diffused light source.
chris_waller
Tri-X at 200 ASA - Rodinal 1:50, 20 C, 10 minutes. Four inversions in teh first 30 seconds then one inversion every 30 seconds after that. That's for a diffuser head.
