Velvia 100F skin tones

Recommended Posts

I have shot a few rolls so far and would agree that flesh tones do appear to be better but still not optimal. It is still not a film that I would recommend for flesh. Picking up 2 more rolls from the lab today and hopefully will have some scans to share.

Thanks for the PDF datasheets, Michael! Nothing about improved

skin tones in Velvia 100F, but it's interesting how Fujifilm admits

that Velvia 50 produced only one shade of green:

[Enables] reproduction of subtle colors beyond the capability of past [RVP?] films, including cyan blue, blue green, yellow green, lemon yellow, purple, and moss green.

Official datasheet sharpness is reduced markedly from Velvia 50, but

spectral sensitivity is higher and more regular.
