It's very deco- pseudo danish modern colors. I like the fact that you suggest looking passed the surface to see the color on the inside. Very original.

I can appreciate the issue of shooting sport/action photos. Although I think its a 'good' photo, I don't really see what all the hoop-la is about. People mention the color and detail being, per se, better than average. I just don't think it's to hard to shoot anything with action in daylight and have it come out well. Perhaps that's my arrogance. I have to agree with one specific comment. You see this in newspapers everyday. It's exactly what I thought of when I saw it.

Dennis it's a good shot. Kudos for having the minerals to not only parasail but to take your Nikon up there with you. It's a great perspective shot. -
One word there Dave- Headroom. Look to see (camera manual) how much of the film plane you see in the view finder. It will help you compose your shots better.

I like the scene. I personally would have been a little closer to the wall on the right. I think that would have given it a more distinct 'line'. I would have also used a slight up angle and waited for good clouds. I hope this wasn't to critical, because I do like the photo.

I took a series of photos at the St. Louis airport. I was stranded
there in the middle of the night after missing a connection.
Personally, I think it is some of the best stuff I've done. Thanks

I like the shadow play on the face. It's what we strive for in cinematography. Her face also just has a pleasent way about it. -
